29th August 2008 was a "Halo Day" here in the State of São Paulo, Brazil. Ice halos started to make drawings in the sky since 7 am til 5 pm, with non stop.
This is a pic I took around 7 am. You cna see a tangent arc, a faint 22 circular halo and a supralateral halo (the best one I saw til now). More to come!  Brightness and contrast modified to make halos more visible on pic. |
